  • Acanthocalycium glaucum

Acanthocalycium glaucum gets its name from the glaucous blue coating that covers the epidermis. This Argentinian native was only relatively recently botanically described in 1964 and is frequently confused with the unrelated but superficially similar Copiapoa. A. glaucum is an easy to grow plant and will flower all summer. Water throughout the growing season and only lightly in the winter. You may receive the same plant or one similar to the one shown.
