Operculicarya hyphaenoides x pachypus:

This is a hybrid between Operculicarya hyphaenoides and pachypus, two of the most desirable species of this beloved xeric tree strictly native to the botanical wonderland of Madagascar. This genus is a great bonsai candidate thanks to the knobby bark, zig zag branching, and small pinnate leaves. O. hyphaenoides has a slight pubescence or "fuzziness" to the leaves that can be seen in this hybrid.
