A native to the limestone soils of San Luis Potosi, Tamaulipas, and Nuevo Leon, Thelocactus hexaedrophorus is one of the most striking members of the Mexican genus. It’s an easy going species with a pale blue globose body and elegant pink-tinted spines. Fairly heat and cold tolerant, it’s a favorite of our friends in the Sonoran desert. Water weekly in the summer for fast growth.
