Bergamot Station:
At the Bergamot Station Arts Center, we turned the passageways and thoroughfares of this LA art hub into green-space bedecked with subtropical and xeric plants, mostly from Madagascar and Baja. Small planting pockets are filled with low-water succulents and bromeliads and the crown jewel is a heart arresting 65-year old Aloe dichotoma. If you're in the area, make this tree your destination.
