Caputia tomentosa, formerly Senecio haworthii, is also known as "wooly senecio". Native to the cape provinces, this succulent grows at high altitudes and produces such a dense felt that it can be rubbed off and used as tinder for a fire. A very easy plant that appreciates water all year. You may receive the same plant or one similar to the plant shown. 

 

Water: Water regularly. Can take more water than most succulents! 

Sun Exposure: Some shade to full sun. 

Soil:  Stone Eaters Soil -OR- 50% pumice/perlite + 50% regular potting mix

Temperature: Keep above 30°F.

Fertilize: During the spring/summer growing season with Super Kabuto Fertilizer.
