CS NYC:
It sits on the only empty lot on Essex Street, Known by some as “the missing tooth of the Lower East Side”. This garden comprises a grove of building-height Vivax timber bamboo that we had trucked-in from Oregon on giant refrigerated trucks, and planted amongst massive basalt boulders with an understory of New York native ferns growing upon a carpet of 16 different species of moss. An unlikely garden sanctuary in the city that never sleeps.
