CS NYC:
CS NYC sits on the only empty lot on Essex Street, Known by some as “the missing tooth of the Lower East Side”. This garden comprises a grove of building height Vivax timber bamboo that were trucked-in from Oregon on giant refrigerated trucks and planted amongst massive basalt boulders. The bamboo is accompanied by understory of New York native ferns growing upon a carpet of sixteen different species of moss. An unlikely garden sanctuary in the city that never sleeps.
