Known to only a few locations in the Limpopo region of South Africa, C. Hardyi a member of the grape family, but is toxic. These are known for gnarled & knobby caudices. The growth habit and scale make these more suitable for more of a traditional bonsai-like approach to staging.  

 

PLANT INFO & CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Dimensions: Plant shown in a 4" pot.

Water: Water regularly when leafing out during the spring/summer. Slightly decrease when dormant.  

Sun Exposure: Full sun. Southern Facing windows, or outside unobstructed.

Soil: Stone Eaters Soil or Mineral mix or 70% pumice / 30% potting soil. 

Temperature: Don't let temperatures drop below 50° F.

Fertilize: When actively growing with Super Kabuto Fertilizer.

Dormancy: Cyphostemma often lose all their leaves when going dormant.
