*MULTIPLE PLANTS AVAILABLE. YOU WILL RECEIVE A SIMILAR PLANT IN SIZE AND AGE AS THE ONE SHOWN*
Mammillaria crucigera thrives on vertical cliff edges, taking hold in the clefts and crevasses of the rock, in pure gypsum. Its habitat is fragile and specialized, growing on easily eroded cliffs that lead to high mortality rates and a continuing decline in population. As it matures it almost always forks into dichotomous heads, a trait performed uncommonly and at random for most other cacti.
