This residence has a series of gardens all expanding upon the idea of a distinctly California style merging with traditional elements.  The front yard is a floriferous golden meadow of mostly native grasses and shrubs blended with brilliant single petal roses, hollyhocks, echinacea, and anemones that beckon bees and butterflies.  The studio garden is a shady, contemplative space centered on a grand Beaucarnea recurvata specimen surrounded by plentiful Euphorbia and Dudleya species.
