Rhyothemis Variegata Polo:
Described by Linneus himself in 1763, Rhyothemis variegata is a medium-sized dark bodied dragonfly that, due to their lovely patterned wings and delicate flight, is oft mistaken for a butterfly. It breeds in the marshes, ponds, and paddy fields of South Asia and is most abundantly seen between the months of May and August.
