One of the "holy grails" for succulent collectors, Sarcocaulon peniculinum is exceedingly rare in cultivation and the wild. The highly dissected blue foliage contrasts the silver skin and has a very elegant appearance. The plant flowers generously throughout the growing season and blooms pink with very delicate petals.
PLANT INFO & CARE INSTRUCTIONS
Dimensions: Plant shown in a 2.5" pot.
Water: Water regularly when leafing out, usually winter. Slightly decrease when dormant.
Sun Exposure: Full sun. Southern Facing windows, or outside unobstructed.
Soil: Stone Eaters Soil or Mineral mix or 70% pumice / 30% potting soil.
Temperature: Don't let temperatures drop below 50° F.
Fertilize: When actively growing with Super Kabuto Fertilizer.
Dormancy: Sarcocaulon often lose all their leaves when going dormant.
